The United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) is
working with the Nepal Government, multilateral, bilateral agencies and civil
society to achieve the Millennium Development Goals through support that is
consistent with the Government of Nepal's development priorities..
This is a challenging position that requires working across teams to develop,
implement and monitor the Communication Strategy and Action Plan for DFID,
covering internal and external communication. S/he will support the promotion of
an informed public debate around development, poverty and inclusion in Nepal.
S/he will also be involved in drafting good reports, briefings, will manage the
media strategy and help DFID Nepal communicate impact and lesson learning
effectively.
