  3. The data in the tables are the most up-to-date available at the time of compilation and reflect the position at 1 September 2005. Some tables include changes to data for earlier years due to final figures being confirmed where data were previously provisional, new classifications being adopted or corrections of coding errors. An exercise in 2004/05 identified errors in the coding of some types of DFID’s ‘technical co-operation’ which have now been corrected.
