Department for International Development Expenditure Statistics 2007/08

The Department for International Development (DFID) has released details of its financial year 2007/08 development assistance expenditure. This release provides details of the volume, type, destination and purpose of DFID expenditure. In 2007/08 the total DFID programme was £5,202m. This is an increase of £174m over 2006/07 (3.5 %). Since 2003/04 DFID’s programme has grown by 40 %. This represents an average annual increase of 9 %.
