Development
Assistance Committee (DAC) High Level Forum in March 2005 have a number of implications for the relationship between donors and recipients, including the importance of aid being country-owned, aligned with national priorities such as those in Poverty Reduction Strategies, harmonised with other donors, more predictable, less tied to externally imposed policy conditions, and more accountable both to developing country governments and their people.
DFID approach
