Eligible organisations

Established UK based network and regional media producers/journalists

Funding criteria

Individual media journalists may apply to spend up to 3 months in a Commonwealth developing country researching and producing items for transmission/printing in the UK network and regional media. Their application should be accompanied by a letter of interest from their head of department or line manager.

Objectives of the scheme

To increase development awareness in the UK. To improve understanding of development issues and the developing world amongst UK media professionals. To research, develop and produce broadcast/print material about these issues for distribution to the UK public via network and regional media.
