Swaziland

DFID’s bilateral programme to Swaziland has progressively reduced, and now stands at about £1 million per year. This includes support for a rural water project and support for the Swaziland non-governmental organisation coalition (CANGO). Swaziland is also included in DFIDSA’s regional work on HIV and AIDS and trade. In addition to its direct spending, DFID contributes about £0.5 million per year through the EU programme in Swaziland, and also contributes to the work of other multilateral agencies.
