Freedom of Information Act Complaints Procedure

DFID operates the following Complaints Procedures under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

If you are dissatisfied with our handling of a request for information under these regimes, you are entitled to a review of your request by DFID.  A member of staff who was not involved with the original request will undertake the internal review.  If you wish to have the handling of a request reviewed or have any complaints on DFID's compliance with Freedom of Information, write to or e-mail:
