July 2012: UN Announces 2012 Competition for the Young Professionals Programme
The UN has now announced the 2012 categories for its annual competition for the Young Professionals Programme. These are:
The application period for the 2012 exams will start on 13 July and close on 12 September. Candidates who pass the UN’s initial sift will be invited to participate in the examinations, which will take place in December. The final stage is an interview, in early 2013.
The programme is open to nationals of countries who are currently under-represented within the UN. UK nationals are eligible to apply.
