Crown Agents is owned by the Crown Agents Foundation and allocates sums to the Foundation’s social and developmental objectives.

Procurement and logistics

Crown Agents is recognised internationally as one of the world’s leading independent procurement agents, and has procurement specialists based in our offices in Dhaka, Abuja, Harare, Islamabad Lusaka, London, Nairobi, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington.  We have a specialist team providing health procurement and logistics and provide quality assurance and shipping services as part of a total supply chain solution where required.

We manage programmes to reform public procurement at institutional, organisational, and individual levels and provide value for money, assessment and benchmarking services to assess and modernise procurement performance.

Consultancy

Working across a broad range of sectors, our consultancy services help nations achieve deep-rooted change in the institutions and systems that are vital for ensuring prosperity and well-being.  This includes strengthening health systems, improving public financial management and governance, tax and customs modernisation, trade facilitation and civil society strengthening.     We manage grants for a range of donors and philanthropists.

Financial services

Crown Agents Bank provides cash management and payment services to donors, governments and other organisations involved in development activities. The Bank is contracted by DFID to provide a range of services under its Third Party Monies contract, including management, administration, payment and reporting services for pooled donor funds and third-party monies. This includes working with management consultants and other agents appointed by DFID.  Other specialist services include international pension and payroll services to clients in 35 countries for more than 15,000 beneficiaries, investment management and trade finance.

Humanitarian assistance

Crown Agents is exclusively contracted by DFID’s Conflict, Humanitarian and Security Department (CHASE) and by the HMG’s Stabilisation Unit to provide a 24/7 emergency humanitarian and stabilisation response capability – the CHASE Operations Team
