ActionAid is a campaigning NGO that works in Africa, Asia and Latin America. They have six linked priority areas: education, hunger, HIV & AIDS, food, emergencies, women and girls. ActionAid works with local organisations to ensure that the poor have a voice, and to address both the causes and consequences of poverty.
A three year Programme Partnership Arrangement has been agreed with ActionAid UK between 2011 and 2014 with an initial investment of £4,119,005 for 2011-12.
