Good Governance through Strengthened Media in Liberia

This five-year programme will build the capacity of the local media in Liberia to report more effectively on good governance and human rights issues. This will encourage greater respect for democracy and human rights throughout the country, particularly within the media, government and civil society. The programme will work with media owners, editors, working journalists, journalism professors, students and local NGO’s to establish a sustainable tradition of fair and accurate reporting on good governance and human rights issues throughout the country.
