Key Facts
A five-year programme seeking to support changes in governance by enabling conflict-affected groups to better participate in decision-making processes to determine ‘the way things are done’, thus affecting institutional change. It aims to contribute to more effective governance and better prospects for sustainable peace in four project areas – West Africa (Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia), northern Uganda (with Southern Sudan), Caucasus (Georgia/Abkhazia) and Fiji; and to greater understanding of how to improve governance in conflict contexts.
