‘A National Conversation’ is a 5-year project designed to nurture understanding amongst citizens, civil society and government of the media’s role in empowering audiences to hold those in authority to account, giving voice to diverse sectors of society, facilitating participatory policy-making, and providing an interface between citizens and government. 

It will be structured around four core strategies: research, media development, co-production with partner broadcasters, and participatory outreach.
