Kiwanja UK Providing 128,000 poor rural people in Kenya with a mobile money transfer system allowing financial service providers to collect and disburse funds or schools to collect fees and communicate with families.
Friends of the Treatment Action Campaign (FoTAC) Increasing the use of anti-retroviral therapy for HIV, and TB treatment for 69,000 people in South Africa by establishing home-based counselling and testing.
International Network of Street Papers (INSP) Creating employment and support to 600 slum dwellers/homeless people in Nigeria and South Africa, through selling/distributing street papers.
Mandimba Alliances in Mozambique (MaMA) Providing home-based literacy and life training skills to 18,000 poor rural adults and youth in Mozambique.
iPartner India Improving maternal and neonatal health care for 2000 poor women and infants in India through mobile phone enabled health care
Vision for a Nation Foundation Expanding provision of free eye tests to 425,000 poor people in Rwanda, and distributing 30,000 low cost, adjustable eyeglasses across 417 Rwandan health centres.
