Trust for Africa's Orphans Improving market access and enhancing the ability of resource-poor women farmers to diversify their links with markets, resulting in improved incomes and an overall economic development for 1,800 women heads of households and 11,700 dependent children living in three districts in Northern Uganda.
India Development Group (U.K.) Ltd. Building the capacity of 300+ small-scale women bee-keepers/honey-producers in Orissa, India and the commercial viability of their honey production activities.  As well as the women themselves, who are Dalits or members of scheduled castes, an estimated 1,800 family members and up to 36,000 villagers in the target villages will also benefit.
HealthProm Creating an alternative to the institutionalisation of 305 vulnerable and disabled young children under 6 years old in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, through a new community based Early Years Support (EYS) Service for families.
PONT - Partnerships Overseas Networking Trust Developing an innovative three phase emergency ambulance network for the 126,000 members of communities in the Mbale region of Uganda, to provide seriously ill under-five year olds and pregnant women with emergency transport to hospital from 180 rural villages.
ICA:UK Innovative approach to sustaining educational provision in under-served areas of rural Togo by creating long-term opportunities for schools to earn income (through teak plantations) and for volunteer teachers to earn incomes (through animal husbandry), benefitting approximately 7000 people.
African Initiatives Getting more girls in to school by changing community attitudes towards the importance of education for girls, raising awareness in schools and communities using Maasai forms of communication, and piloting evening classes in 3 villages, benefitting 9,700 children in 15 targeted villages in Tanzania.
