Results of Civil Society Challenge Fund 2011 competition

Support for new projects agreed

School pupils in TanzaniaWe are pleased to announce that DFID has completed the assessment of applications received for the 2011 Civil Society Challenge Fund (CSCF) Competition.
As with previous rounds, competition was intense and demand on the fund far outweighed the funding available. DFID’s Civil Society Department considered 146 applications from 126 different civil society organisations and agreed provisional funding for 34 new projects.  Applicants have been informed of the results of their applications. Unsuccessful applicants have received comprehensive feedback on their proposals.
