Project coordination

RAGS projects are managed from London, with the support of two country coordinators based in India and Bangladesh.  The role of the country coordinators is to assist the RAGS Fund Manager in the following tasks and activities:

  • Creating a network of RAGS Grant holders in India and Bangladesh.
  • Collecting casestudies on project lessons and project management for dissemination.
  • Ensuring appropriate collaboration of projects – in particular, to avoid duplication of project scope and work with partners/stakeholders.
  • Acting as liaison points between DFID country offices and RAGS projects.
  • Acting as RAGS representatives in India and Bangladesh to field press requests and inform other interested stakeholders
  • Undertaking site visits at the Fund Manager’s request to support monitoring and evaluation.
  • Assisting with the organisation of in-country outreach and dissemination events as part of the RAGS Communications Strategy.

More information about the project coordination offices can be obtained from the RAGS Fund Manager.
