The reduction of poverty in Africa remains one of DFID’s top priorities. Eastern and Southern Africa contains eight of our Public Service Agreement countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe).
We work directly in these countries, as well as through partnerships with the European Union, UN, African Union and other regional and multilateral organisations.
