Technology, Infrastructure and Urban Planning

The Technology, Infrastructure and Urban Planning Resource Centre (TI-UP) provides a one-stop shop for knowledge in the combined fields of Technology, Infrastructure and Urban Planning to DFID infrastructure advisors, programme managers and DFID's partners.

TI-UP offers up to two days free advice to eligible DFID advisors and staff from other qualifying agencies, through its core services, as well as longer commissioned services. Timely and relevant technical advice is offered in all aspects of energy, transport and communications, geo-science, and urban planning, as well as a number of cross-cutting themes.

On the website you will find the latest news from each of these core sectors. The key documents section provides access to the latest research and operational experience, as well as presenting findings from TI-UP commissioned reports. TI-UP maintains an up-to-date listing of relevant training and events.

TI-UP is managed by a wide-ranging consortium, led by one of the largest consulting firms in Europe, WSP, and encompassing specialist bodies working in each of the core sectors.
