Introductory online course  

The online course is aimed at teachers who are interested or in the early stages of establishing a global school partnership. It has been adapted from the Introduction to Global School Partnerships workshop which is delivered as a face- to-face session.

The course will enable you to:

  • explore the contribution that global education can make to school curricula and ethos
  • consider the practicalities of developing a new partnership
  • decide whether this kind of partnership is right for you and your school
  • identify the support that is available from Global School Partnerships and from others.

The course is designed so that individuals, a group of colleagues or a facilitator can work through each section either chronologically or selectively. The course can be completed in one sitting or saved and used over a period of time. Alllow at least 3 hours to complete the six sections. You can complete as many sections as you wish in any order. There are up to 5 activities in each section. Each section will take between 30 - 45 minutes to complete.

Digital Workbook

There is a digital workbook for you to record your thoughts. Once you register for this course, entries in your digital workbook will be saved automatically and can be referenced and printed out. 

Certificate of Completion

At the end of each section you are asked to reflect on what you have learned. If you successfully complete and submit at least 4 of these reflective activities, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Global School Partnerships.
