DFID Christmas card competition winners announced!

The Secretary of State for International Development of the UK Government would like to thank all schools and students who entered DFID’s Christmas card competition this year. This was the fourth competition of its kind and the response from schools all over the world was very impressive. The winning design was chosen by the Secretary of State and came from a school in India. There were also two runner-up designs from the UK and Sierra Leone.

Runner-up 1: Nadeen and Tasneem Khan, Bamford Academy School, UK


Runner-up 2: Kadiatu Kargbo, Maronka School,Sierra Leone

Choosing the winners was a very difficult task, as all of the entries received were wonderful, vibrant, thoughtful and creative. Once again thank you to you and the pupils in your school for putting in the time and effort for this competition.
