D6 Re-Hiring of DFID Staff as Consultants

Background

DFID may engage ex-DFID staff on a consultancy basis (individuals trading on their own or individuals working for a company). Procurement Group (PrG)'s guidelines must be followed to guard against reputational risk.

Compliance Tasks

Any related contract must be authorised by an officer senior to the former grade of the individual to be contracted and comply with HR Guidance on the Re-employment of DFID employees.
