Senior Leadership Committee

The Senior Leadership Committee leads and manages Senior Civil Service posts and staffing in support of DFID's objectives. The Committee’s work programme is guided by the objectives of:

  • Considering Senior Civil Service posts, staffing and recruitment strategically, assessing the people implications for strategy, policy and organisational change;
  • Overseeing talent management of the Senior Civil Service and Senior Civil Service pipeline – including succession planning and personal development;
  • Managing the pay and performance reward strategy for Senior Civil Service in DFID.
