Corporate Governance Structure

The Secretary of State, with support from the Minister of State and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, sets DFID strategy and policy, with advice from the following groups:

Ministerial Board

The Ministerial Board advises on and monitors the delivery of the Secretary of State’s strategy and policy priorities (including the DFID Business Plan and the results set out in the Bilateral and Multilateral Aid Reviews and the Humanitarian Emergency Response Review). Management Board

The Management Board provides strategic direction to the management of DFID's operations, staff and financial resources. Further information on the Management Board.

The Management Board is supported by a number of sub-committees:

• The Development Policy Committee, chaired by DG Policy and Global Programmes.
• The Audit Committee, chaired by Doreen Langston (NED).
• The Investment Committee, chaired by DG Finance and Corporate Performance.
• The Security Committee, chaired by DG Country Programmes.
• The Senior Leadership Committee, chaired by the Permanent Secretary.
