Please note the following revisions to Statistics on International Development 2011 since first release on Thursday 6 October 2011. In particular, total DFID programme expenditure to 'The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria' has been revised from £349.1m to £296.6m, and total DFID programme expenditure to 'Global Environmental Facility' has been revised from £35.0m to £87.5m. References to these figures have also been revised on pages 12, 14 and 29. Total DFID multilateral expenditure is unaffected by these revisions.
DFID bilateral expenditure to the Turks and Caicos Islands has been revised downwards by £5.7m to £0.7m. Total DFID bilateral programme expenditure has been revised downwards by £5.7m to £4248.0m. DFID admin expenditure has been revised upwards by £5.7m to £219m. This is reflected in revisions to tables 1, 3, 9, 11, 13, 14.1, 14.2, 15, 20 and 21. References to these figures have also been revised in the 'Key Statistics' section and sections 2, 3, 4 and 5. Total DFID programme expenditure is unaffected by these revisions.
In Table A3 of the 2010/11 publication, a Sector description was omitted under the Environment Protection category. This had the effect of misreporting spend to the following sub-categories for 2010/11: Climate Change, Desertification, Site Preservation, Flood Prevention/Control, Environment: Poverty Reduction Budget Support and Environment Unallocable/Unspecified. Total bilateral expenditure for the category was unaffected.
