From Embankment: walk up Villiers Street and left into The Strand, past Charing Cross Station and toward Trafalgar Square. Cross Northumberland Avenue and left into Whitehall (the next exit on the left). DFID is about 50 metres past the Trafalgar Studios Theatre (8 minute walk).From Charing Cross: bear left out of the station and toward Trafalgar Square. Cross Northumberland Avenue and left into Whitehall (5 minute walk).From Westminster: turn right out of the station and walk along Whitehall toward Trafalgar Square for approx. 600 metres reaching DFID just before the Trafalgar Studios Theatre (10 minute walk).
The nearest station is Charing Cross (Southeastern Railway).
The following London Bus Routes stop directly outside DFID: 3, 11, 12, 24, 87, 88, 159 & 453. If travelling from Victoria Station, take bus 11 or 24 from Wilton Road or Victoria Street. Buses stop directly outside 22 Whitehall (journey time 10 minutes).
The nearest docking station for the Barclays Cycle Hire Scheme is at the junction of Northumberland Avenue and Whitehall Place (2 minute walk).
